Great Lakes Water Safety Class

Summer is around the corner and that means warm weather (finally!). So let us get out our sunscreen and throw on our bathing suits, it is time to hit the water. But before you test the waters, why not test your safety knowledge at the Great Lakes Water Safety Class. This class will help you identify signs of a struggle, danger, and even drowning. This Water Safety class will also demonstrate how a floatation device can help save someone from a life-threatening situation. Get valuable information on first aid and CPR techniques from qualified agencies and instructors. Also, if you like to hang ten, this is the perfect class to help you better understand the power of currents for surfing. Getting to know the surfing conditions will ensure you will have a safe, yet enjoyable summer.

This class is free and open to the public! If you are interested, the class is being held at the Waukegan Yacht Club this Saturday (June 6th) from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today by either calling the Waukegan Yacht Club or visiting here.
